Why This Matters

We use plastic in our packaging - even though it's recycled and recyclable - and we've always looked for ways to take greater responsibility. While we work on long-term solutions, we also want to make a positive impact now.

That's where Seabin comes in.

Seabin is a floating rubbish bin that lives in marinas and harbours, sucking in water and filtering out plastic, microplastics, oil, and other pollutants. It's a simple idea that makes a big difference and is powered by everyday people and businesses who care.

The Microplastic Problem (and Why You Should Care)

Microplastics are tiny plastic particles smaller than 5mm. They come from things like synthetic clothing, tyres, degraded packaging, and, yes, even personal care products. They're small, but they're everywhere.

• Microplastics have been found in over 80% of global tap water. (Orb Media, 2017)
• They're detected in seafood, table salt, and even human blood. (Environmental International, 2022)
• These particles never truly break down, and they can harm marine life, disrupt ecosystems, and pose risks to human health.

Seabin units are one of the few tools we have that can physically remove microplastics from our waterways before they reach the ocean or make their way back to us.

Starting now, for every order of $50 or more, we'll donate $1 to Seabin's Nature Certificate program, funding the clean-up of Sydney Harbour, one order at a time.
